The warm sun, setting in the mid December sky. The weather perfect for a family beach photo session at Little Corona state beach. I’m greeted with the warmest welcome from the beautiful Wells family, all dressed to perfection! (I fell in love with Makinzee’s long tulle skirt and blush lace top!) Baby Pierce was about to turn one, and stunning momma Makenziee had just announced she and Jason were expecting baby number two! (How amazing does she look?!) Baby Pierce was all smiles, ready to explore the beautiful beach covered in little pebbles and soft sand.

As we made our way over to the beautiful rock formations, Makinzee and I bonded over life as a mom and how our precious little ones were indeed, growing too fast! I love hearing and sharing experiences with all the amazing families I get to meet. Baby Pierce loved the feeling of the sand between his toes, kissing mommy’s belly and playing with daddy’s tickly beard! I loved watching Pierce explore on his own, as well as spinning, dancing, and walking along the gorgeous Southern California Beach with his mommy and daddy. The setting sun was the perfect backdrop for some family cuddles and giggles. I also love being able to incorporate something that is special to a family. Whether it’s a tradition or an heirloom, the memories get to be captured over and over again. For the Wells family, it was looking towards the beautiful blue ocean, holding hands. This very special pose was reminiscent of Jason and Makinzee on their wedding day. This time, they had little baby Pierce in their arms which made it truly special!

Makinzee, Jason and Pierce, thank you so much for the honor of documenting some memories for you! I had so much fun getting to know you all and playing with baby Pierce. He is going to be an awesome big brother and I am so excited for you all!
