Gimme ALL the baby bumps because I am so in LOVE!

Maybe it’s the special glow that expecting moms-to-be have. Maybe it’s knowing what it’s like to have a sweet human growing inside you. Maybe it’s the way the soon to be momma lovingly holds her adorable little bump. Or, maybe it’s a combination of it all! For as long as I can remember, every time I saw a pregnant woman, it would bring me so much happiness and joy. Being able to document such a fascinating time in a woman’s life is truly an honor. MATERNITY sessions sincerely have a special place in my heart.

When I met Silva + Riz, they were so sweet and dressed perfectly for our Little Corona Del Mar beach maternity session. Silva’s mom + dad were there to enjoy the special moments with their daughter and Riz’s brother shared in the fun! We walked down towards the beach and the light couldn’t be more perfect! Silva opened up her bag of props she brought and pulled out a beautiful flower crown and floral bracelet (not going to lie, I was like a giddy little school girl since it was my first session with a flower crown!). 

We started with some family portraits and moved to more intimate couple’s portraits. I would glance back from time to time and Silva’s parents would be glimpsing over at their beautiful, glowing daughter, smiling from ear to ear. Silva’s parents are visiting from Nepal and anxiously awaiting the arrival of their NEW grandaughter! Silva is such a stunning momma-to-be. There was such a softness and gracefulness about Silva and you can tell she’s going to be an amazing mom! There is so much love between Silva, Riz and their family.
