He took her by the hand. Walking side by side, they look at one another and giggle. The desert sun, blazing down on the two of them. Nothing but giant windmills surrounding them. The hot wind blows. Her golden dress flutters. He hugs her tight. They giggle even more.

This anniversary session turned engagement session is SO special to me because it features one of my bestest friends, my triplet sister, Victoria, and her fiance Daniel. We ventured off to Palm Springs to explore the beautiful desert and it did not disappoint! The beautiful mountains off in the distance, mixed with the field of massive windmills was the most perfect setting for their engagement session. Something about the desert light that makes photographing in Palm Springs an absolute DREAM! I could shoot in the desert forever! (If it didn’t make me feel like I was standing in an oven!) We started our session by the windmills. We then hopped in the car and took a short drive to explore more of the desert. We stumbled upon the dried up Whitewater Riverbed which ended up being a gorgeous end to our desert adventure!

Sharing in your love story, sis, has been something very special. I can’t believe you’re about to marry the love of your life in just a few short days. I’m sitting here trying not to ruin my keyboard with my tears, haha! I can’t write too much because I gotta save some of the good stuff for my speech! Daniel, I am so incredibly happy that you are about to become my brother. I can’t wait to celebrate your wedding day with you guys! Bring extra tissues for me?! I love you both so much!
