Have I ever told you how obsessed I am with maternity sessions?!! Well, they’re my all time favorite type of session to photograph!

Heather and I had been in contact several months ago. I ran my first ever, photo session giveaway on Instagram, and Heather was the lucky winner! She had just recently announced her pregnancy and knew she wanted to save the session for a maternity shoot. I was thrilled because I ADORE maternity sessions!! Did I already say they are my all time fave?!

Heather is the epitome of a beautiful momma-to-be! Leading up to our session, Heather told me about this beautiful dress she ordered from BeBe K Studio and couldn’t wait for it to arrive! Heather and her adorable little girl Harper, and husband Brad, joined me down at the beautiful Little Corona beach for their session. When I saw all three of them together, I could feel the love they have for one another. Harper’s strong independent personality led her straight to exploring the beach. We walked a few steps to where all the sand turned into a beautiful blanket of rocks and pebbles.. Harper went straight to collecting rocks. Big rocks, little rocks, she started to collect a whole bunch of them and was strategically piling them on this huge boulder. We were able to sneak in some photos of Harper and her mommy by bribing her with ooohhhh so pretty and special pebbles and stones! We even got cute little Harper to kiss her baby brother a few times! Brad watched Harper while I took Heather closer to the water for some portraits. Gosh you guys, I can’t wait for you to scroll down to check out this session!
